We collect as little as possible, and only what is needed to keep reviews genuine and to answer your messages. See also our review integrity policy.
What we collect
- Reviews: the display name you enter, the email address used to verify you, your ratings and your written answers. Your email address is never published.
- Contact messages: your name, email address, subject and message.
- Accounts: an email address and an encrypted password, used only for signing in.
- Basic technical data such as request logs, kept to keep the site running and to detect abuse.
Why we use it
- To verify that a review comes from a real, reachable person before it is published.
- To reply to enquiries you send us.
- To protect the directory from automated submissions, duplicate reviews and coordinated rating campaigns.
What we never do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not share reviewer email addresses with the services being reviewed.
- We do not accept payment to publish, edit, hide or reorder a review or a score.
Retention and your choices
- Reviews stay published until you ask us to remove them. Contact messages are kept while an enquiry is open and for a reasonable period afterwards.
- You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion at any time through the contact page. We will confirm your identity using the email address on record before acting.
Cookies
- We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and browser storage entries to keep you signed in. We do not run advertising trackers.
