Trust
How we keep reviews honest.
Press release distribution is a market with strong incentives to inflate reputation. Our review system is built to make that expensive and slow. Four layers stand between a submission and a published review.
Bot challenge
Every review submission passes a server-signed challenge before it reaches our systems. The expected answer never leaves the server unsigned, so scripted submissions cannot replay it.
Email verification
A one-time code is sent to the reviewer's email address. The review is tied to that verified address, and only one review per service per person is accepted.
Abuse-signal screening
Privacy-preserving network and browser signals help identify repeated submissions, automated browsers, and other patterns that may indicate manipulation.
Manual review layer
Flagged reviews are read by a person. We may request additional information — such as proof of purchase or an invoice reference — before publishing, and we decline reviews we cannot substantiate.
What we remove
- Reviews written by the service itself, its staff, its agencies or its competitors.
- Incentivised reviews, where a discount, refund or gift was offered in exchange.
- Reviews that contain no experience of the service, or that are abusive or defamatory.
- Duplicate reviews from the same person or the same verified email address.
User reviews never move our score
Our editorial score comes only from observable data points — published pricing, documented reach, distribution speed, guideline severity, spam exposure, reseller features and support provisions. User reviews and third-party platform ratings are shown alongside it for context and are never blended into it. Read the full methodology.
Report a review
If you believe a published review is fake, send us the service name and the review headline through the contact page. We investigate every report and unpublish while we do.
